V International Workshop of the Graduate Program on Physics Engineering
The Postgraduate Program on Physics Engineering (PPENGFIS) of the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE) presents the V International Workshop of the Graduate Program on Physics Engineering, which will take place on the 16th, 17th, and 18th of October 2024, with lectures by renowned national and international researchers, as well as the presentation of scientific works by Brazilian students (scientific initiation, masters and doctorates) in the format of banners. Additionally, we will have sections with some short courses. The event will be blended (in-person and online) and will take place in the auditorium of the Academic Unit of Cabo de Santo Agostinho (UACSA), which is a Unit of the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE). By holding this event, PPENGFIS/UFRPE intends to offer quality work with professionalism and social insertion to motivate students to become part of the Engineering Campus and to enter the first Graduate Program in Physical Engineering in Brazil. We also seek to bring companies and industries closer to the University, working in a coordinated way to solve current problems.

1. UFRPE Bus:
A bus will be available on all days of the Workshop to transport participants back and forth. This bus will leave at 6:30 am from the UFRPE Rectory (Rectory - Campus Dois Irmãos - Recife - UFRPE) to UACSA-UFRPE (Unidade Cabo de Santo Agostinho - UFRPE), passing by the Rectory-UFPE-Recife, Rectory-IFPE-Recife and Recife-PE Airport. The bus will be identified with the slogan "V International Workshop of the Graduate Program in Physics Engineering". The return (UACSA-UFRPE to Rectory-UFRPE) will occur after the daily activities of the Workshop.
2. Uber or Taxi: The trip lasts around 30 to 40 minutes.
The V International Workshop of the Graduate Program on Physics Engineering is a completely free event.
The banners must be 80 cm (width) by 120 cm (height) in dimensions. All works will be previously identified by sections and presentation days. All participants who submitted abstracts to the Workshop will be informed via email.
The awards for the best submitted and presented works will take place on the last day of the Workshop during the closing ceremony.
